Who we are.
BUILDING & HOME CENTER, LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY — operating as BUILDING & HOME CENTER LLC — is a corporate information technology firm. We design, build, secure and operate the software systems that modern organizations rely on to run their operations.
We are organized as a practice rather than a vendor. That distinction shapes how we hire, how we scope work, and how we hand systems back to the teams that will live with them. Our partners and senior engineers are the ones writing production code; there is no intermediary layer between the people commissioning the work and the people doing it.
Operating model

Engagements are staffed by small, senior teams sized to the problem. Each engagement carries an explicit owner who is accountable for written specifications, reviewed code, runbooks and operational readiness.
We treat documents as deliverables. Architecture decisions, threat models and on-call procedures live in the same repositories as the code they describe.

Partners and senior engineers do the engineering work; account layers are not where decisions get made.
We don't take on what we cannot operate.
If a system cannot be reliably operated, it should not be deployed. We scope accordingly.
